Injury update on Indianapolis Colts' CB Kenny Moore
We don't have specifics at this time around the knee injury that Indianapolis Colts' cornerback Kenny Moore is working through. But ESPN's Stephen Holder did provide an update.
Moore exited Sunday's training camp practice with a knee injury. However, on Monday, Holder would report that the early word is that this "is not a major injury." Holder added that there isn't any info on a timeline for Moore at this time, and details are still "murky."
The Colts are navigating several injuries at the cornerback position. Justin Walley is out for the season after suffering an ACL injury in the team's joint practice with Baltimore. Jaylon Jones and JuJu Brents both remain sidelined with hamstring injuries.
This has left uncertainty around who will be starting opposite of Charvarius Ward. Samuel Womack, Alex Johnson, and Johnathan Edwards are all in the mix for those snaps at this time.
Moore has played over 1,000 defensive snaps in four of the last five seasons, mostly lining up at the nickel, and he came away with three interceptions in 2024 while holding pass catchers to just 9.1 yards per catch.
